Our first SUP Social of 2020 was so much fun even if slightly different from what we are used to. We made this a free ticketed event so that we could ensure that we had an awesome SUP Social whilst being fully compliant with the current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines. Our paddlers safety is always our priority and we strive to make our events and lessons as safe as they are fun!
This paddle took us along the beautiful River Great Ouse in Bedford, starting from Cardington Lock, downstream to the awesome Danish Camp who gave us a warm welcome as always. There we chatted all things Paddleboarding over refreshments while we re-charged for the paddle back in the early August sun.
On this particular paddling adventure, we saw lots of local wildlife and critters! The iconic Bedford Swans, Damselflies, Dragonflies, Kingfishers, a Stoat and even some Mussels!
Our Heron and Hush SUP Socials are free events that we offer to experienced paddlers and cover a variety of local routes. We love to include one of our local riverside cafe's, restaurant's or pubs to refuel along the way!
