Paddle and Paint at The Kingfisher

Service Description

What could be better than a relaxing Friday evening, starting out on the water, followed by painting you very own paddleboarder at sundown in a riversidepub? If you want to unwind, find your happy place, or just learn something new, join us at The Kingfisher. The hour long SUP session is for all abilities, from beginning to advanced, it will include land-based instruction and a safety brief for all, then time to immerse yourself in nature on the beautiful River Great Ouse with your friendly, knowledgeable instructor, Lesley. After enjoying some time on the water you’ll have time to change and settle at our table in The Kingfisher, where you will be able to order your refreshments (please note, these are not included in the price) before starting on creating your very own masterpiece with our artist Victoria, using bright and beautiful gouache paints to bring your beautiful sunset scene, to life. Your painting lesson will last approximately 2 hours, and again, no experience is needed! Follow along with Victoria’s step-by-step instruction and you’ll have your very own work of art to take home with you at the end of the experience for your friends and family to admire! This event is for over 18s ONLY. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the evening from the Kingfisher’s fabulous menu, but is not included in the price.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for SUP Lessons and Tours, SUP Club bookings and events: For no charges to be made, you must cancel 24 hours prior to your session. You will be offered to transfer your session to a mutually agreed date. For Cancellations outside of the designated cancellation period and non-arrivals you will be charged in full and no transfers will be available. For SUP and Dine and SUP and Stay Options: For no charges to be made, you must cancel 24 hours prior to 2pm on the day of arrival. For cancellations outside of the designated cancellation period and non-arrivals you will be charged in full. If the lesson part of your event, dine or stay needs to be cancelled by Heron and Hush due to, inclement weather, for safety reasons or due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to transfer this part of your package to a mutually agreeable date. Partial or full refunds may be offered but is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the provider, Heron and Hush.
