Here at H&H, we believe that it’s not just about the paddle! It’s as much about the pitstop and the friends we make along the way while sharing our passion
Our Heron and Hush SUP Socials are the perfect opportunity to get together with other paddlers and enjoy our stunning waterways in the process. Last year our guided socials covered two routes along our favourite local stretches, different both in distance and weather! Whether sun-drenched or simply drenched, our paddlers had a great time meeting new people with our shared love of SUP while discovering new paddle places!
Cake is mandatory on these paddles! We make sure that there is somewhere en route for us all to stop and get to know our new found paddle buddies even better while we refuel and refresh! These pit stops have already included two of our favourite waterside cafes, The Longholme Cafe, situated on Longholme Island between the upper & lower Great River Ouse and Danish Camp - A Norwegian log cabin surrounded by woodland on the banks of The River Great Ouse in Willington just east of Bedford. We can’t wait to enjoy the incredible hospitality and warm welcome we receive on our next trip!
